Every night, I read to my little girl in bed—a small ritual that means the world to both of us. But night after night, I kept running into the same issue: the lighting.

The bedside lamp was too far. The overhead light was too harsh. I needed something just right—a gentle, focused light that let me see the pages clearly without shining into her little eyes.

That’s when the idea came to me: what if I designed a lamp that extends from the middle of the headboard, bending to the perfect height for reading?

I started sketching at night after my daughter fell asleep—simple, intuitive designs that could tuck behind the headboard without drilling, damage, or bulky fixtures.
